My name is Victor Herrera
Photography has been a cherished tradition in my family for three generations, weaving through our history with the thread of passion. I believe deeply in the power of love to transcend all barriers—distance, race, color, or language. Witnessing these boundless expressions of love fuels my passion for wedding photography.
For the past 15 years, I have been fortunate to journey through life with my wife and best friend, Sara. Recently, our joy has multiplied with the arrival of our beautiful baby, David. Teaching him what we've learned, watching him grow, and traveling together enriches our lives immensely. We cherish our visits to friends in diverse locales like Antigua, Guatemala, San Cristobal de Las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico, and cities across the US including San Diego, California, and New York City.
A devout fan of the Star Wars universe, I also hold deep admiration for Emmanuel Lubezki, known as “El Chivo” or “The Goat.” His cinematography in films like “A Little Princess” and “The Revenant” inspires my own work, deepening my respect for the art of photography.
My life is filled with small delights—the unique taste of Chiapas peaches, a glass of fine red wine, the refreshing ocean breeze, the serene beauty of a lush forest, the noble presence of wolves, and the humbling vastness of a star-filled sky. These experiences continually remind me of the joy and wonder in the world, which I strive to capture in every photograph I take.
